Competition to Find the Best Beach on Lake Narach to Be Held in Belarus

The competition will be organised by the National Tourism Agency in accordance with a decision by the Belarusian government.
“The competition will help systematically improve the quality of recreational infrastructure and ensure modern standards of leisure facilities in one of the country’s key tourist destinations,” the government’s press service said.
Sanatoriums, health resorts and other organisations located on the shores of Lake Narach will be eligible to participate. The winner will receive 500,000 rubles.
The competition is scheduled for May 2027. Participants will be required to improve their beaches starting in late October 2026.
The competition commission will inspect and assess the beaches according to six criteria:
- Quality of facilities and landscaping;
- Free and safe access to the beach;
- Environmental sustainability of the materials used in landscaping;
- Variety of functions and amenities;
- Safety infrastructure;
- A comfortable environment.
