Forecasters have issued an orange weather alert for Friday. Strong winds are expected.

“In the morning and afternoon of October 9 (Friday), most of the country and the city of Minsk are expected to experience strengthening westerly winds with gusts of 15–20 m/s”, the warning says.

Tomorrow, the weather in Belarus will be influenced by an atmospheric front moving in from Western Europe, followed by a cold air mass. Cloudy with clear spells. Rain is expected across most of the country, with thunderstorms possible in the afternoon. Temperatures will range from +10 to +16°C throughout the day.
