Unexploded Ballistic Missile to Be Defused in Kyiv

Police and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine are carrying out an operation to defuse an unexploded ballistic missile in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi District. It was found among residential buildings.

Russia attacked Ukraine again overnight with ballistic, cruise and anti-ship missiles, as well as 130 attack drones, including 46 jet-powered drones. The main targets were in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Poltava and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, five ballistic missiles, 39 cruise missiles and 117 drones were shot down.

Missile and drone strikes were recorded at 18 locations, while debris fell at five locations.

Two people were killed in Kyiv as a result of the overnight strikes. A fire broke out at a garage cooperative, where the bodies of the two victims were found.

In Pryluky, Chernihiv region, a multi-story residential building was destroyed. Two people are reportedly dead. Search and rescue operations are underway.
