Agriculture Ministry Raises Purchase Prices for Beets and Corn Cobs

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food, by Resolution No. 79 of October 2, revised the prices of certain agricultural products purchased for republican state needs. The new prices apply from October 5.

The price of first-grade millet has been increased from 293.98 to 310.74 rubles per ton.

The price of corn cobs for the production of hybrid seeds has risen from 531.59 to 561.89 rubles per ton.

The prices of sugar beets have also been increased: beets meeting quality standards are to be purchased at 111.59 rubles per ton, up by 6.02 rubles, while substandard beets will be purchased at 89.07 rubles per ton, up by 4.8 rubles.

At the same time, sugar beets from the 2026 harvest will be purchased at the new prices only after previously issued advances that have not been settled with goods are repaid.
