51 Civic Initiatives to Be Implemented in Minsk

A total of 51 civic initiatives will be implemented in Minsk. This was announced by Vyachaslau Kuzniatsou, chairman of the Minsk City Council’s Standing Commission on Self-Government and Public Order. City councillors today approved the allocation of additional funds for the implementation of civic initiatives and also decided to proceed with ten more projects.

“In 2026, 51 civic initiatives with a total value of almost 1.9 million rubles will be submitted for approval by the council. In terms of categories, these include all proposed children’s playgrounds, recreational and sports facilities. Some have already been completed, while others will be opened ahead of national celebrations and City Day,” he said.
