Poland’s Border Guard detained 400 Belarusian citizens for violating immigration laws in January-August. The figures were reported by Rzeczpospolita.
In total, since Jan. 1, Polish border guards have identified about 8,300 foreigners who violated entry and residence regulations. In all of 2025, 9,300 such violations were recorded.
In January-August, Ukrainian citizens were detained most frequently, with 2,200 people. They were followed by citizens of Colombia (1,400) and Georgia (748). Belarusians ranked fourth, followed by citizens of Moldova (354 people).
